Tukholman reissulla jokin aika sitten pääsin ensimmäistä kertaa kunnolla tutustumaan askartelukauppoihin, kun matkassa oli askarteluhenkistä seuraa. Ja vaikka kauppojen laatu ja valikoimat eivät päätä huimanneet, saa Pyssloteket erityiskiitoksen Martha Stewartin punchien valikoimasta. Matkaan lähti kaksi, yllättäen perhosaiheista, toinen reunaleikkuri ja toinen "all over the page".
During my latest visit to Stockholm I got to visit the local craft stores properly for the first time since I had a craft oriented travel partner. And even though the quality and amount of products didn't overwhelm me in general a certain shop called Pyssloteket deserves a special thanks for having a wide range in Martha Stewart punches. I bought to, surprisingly butterfly themed, a border punch and an all over the page kind.
Tarkoituksenani oli käyttää tuota "all over the page"-perhosta tässä kortissa, mutta valitettavasti se sanoi heti sopimuksensa irti. Ajattelin leikata perhosaukot kraftiin, mutta eipä tahtonut leikkuri mennä siitä läpi ja meni sitten lopulta rikki :( Siispä siirryin kakkosvaihtoehtoon, Slicella leikkaamiseen ja ohuempaan materiaalinkin.
Onneksi vika on sittemmin korjattu ja nyt pääsen Marthalla leikkaamaan. Tiedänpä jatkossa välttää kraftin leikkuuta (mikä on kyllä vähän tyhmää...).
I meant to use the all over the page butterfly for this card, but unfortunately that blew right at my face from the get go. I thought of making the butterfly holes in kraft, but the punch wouldn't go through and it ended up getting broken :( So I had to go with plan B, using Slice and a little less sturdy paper.
Luckily I was able to fix the punch and I can use it again. Now I know not to punch heavy kraft with it. Which is kind of stupid...
