Äitienpäivä on kiva juhla jo siksi, että silloin annetaan ehkä enemmän itsetehtyjä lahjoja. Tai varsinkin pienet lapset antaa. Ja miksei isommatkin :) Omani sai tänä vuonna lahjaksi painamani kassin, jossa oli kyllä sisällä kaupasta ostettu huivi ja koru.
One of the reasons I like the celebration of Mother's day is that homemade things/crafts are used more as gifts. Especially little children give them to their mommies. And some bigger kids too :) This year my mom got a tote bag handprinted by me, with store-bought scarf and necklace inside it.
Kortissa kokeilin jotain ihan uutta, sisäpuolelle askartelua. Siksipä kannessa pidättäydyin hyvin yksinkertaisella linjalla.
With the card I tried something new, crafting on the inside of the card. Therefor I kept the card itself very simple.

Anoppikin sai saman setin, kassin mieheni painoi ihan itse! :) Ja kortin tein minä. Mutta ne unohtui kuvata :(
My mother-in-law got the same set of gifts, my husband did the prints on the tote! I did the card. But I forgot to take pictures of them :(
Oi. Tuo kortin sisältä pomppaava kukkakimppu on ihan loistava! Tollasta on luultavasti aivan pakko kokeilla jossain vaiheessa. :)
